What is Community Connections?
Community Connections is a befriending project set up in partnership with Bridges Community Centre and the Palmer Centre Chepstow.

We are a voluntary organisation covering the rural areas between Monmouth and Chepstow.

We recruit and train volunteers to help people who may feel isolated from their community for various reasons. Maybe they live in a secluded area where transport is a problem, or their extended families live away.

Some people may have suffered a bereavement and need support to rebuild their confidence, others may have poor health or are lonely.

Our volunteers support a person by visiting them in their own home for a couple of hours each week or accompany them to go shopping, or to visit community activities/ clubs.

If you would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to contact us Community Connections.
